Our Story

New Day found its beginnings as a plant of Lake Overholser Nazarene in 2013.  The vision was simply to send us out into the world to create disciples of our new community.  It all began with around 30 members and has exploded into a lively ministry of over 150.  We've made it our mission to reach our community in a genuine and lasting way for the sake of the Gospel message.  

Over the past 9 years, we've made it our mission to reach out to our neighbors and grow our online community.  Both our in-person and online ministries have expanded and experienced just how amazing it is to be part of the Body of Christ.  We serve our community through outreach events, counseling, and worship nights.  

For the past 9 years we have been planted in the Bethany area with the vision and calling to build in and minister to the Surrey Hills area.  Our passion for the Lord has pushed us to be radically faithful, and He has provided for us at every step of the way.  Through great blessings and amazing men and women of God, our dream of this church plant has come to life.  We are hoping to be in our new building in 2024!  Praise be to God.
